Over the years we have come across products that have helped to make our trips a bit more comfortable. In this post you will find some of my favorite products along with the links to purchase them!
My first favorite item, and the first thing I get out when we get parked at our camping spot is our counter top ice maker by Igloo https://amzn.to/3snbOTM. When we had our first camper, we would always buy ice and put some in a cooler and a bag in the indoor freezer. Without fail, every single time, we would have a small pond in the inside freezer at some point on our trip - whether that be on the drive to and from our destination, or even just on a hot day when the freezer just didn't stay cold enough to keep the ice frozen. Along with that, if we were on a trip for more than a day, MAYBE two, we were having to go into town to purchase more ice. When we purchased our newest camper, this was one of the first purchases and we haven't looked back!

My next item is an absolute MUST if you are summer camping and anywhere that bugs can get to be overwhelming. **Picture below can give you the willies** - The Zevo Bug Light https://amzn.to/3KWw59j. I purchased one for our home and when I realized how well this little light worked, I knew I had to try it in the camper.
I can't tell you how many times we have been camping near a lake and the amount of mosquitoes that made their way into our camper was nearly unbearable, not to mention the flies on just about any camping trip. I am here to tell you, THESE LIGHTS ARE A GAME CHANGER! Just look at what it attracted in just our first night of camping on our last trip 🤢.
While we are on the topic of bugs... here is another product that is a must, and also comes along with a wide range of other bug defense, perfect for the entire family! This bite relief soothing balm is always on hand during camping and at home, during the summer!! I am also adding links to their candles and spray - both of which we use religiously!

Next up is my morning necessity!! This Keurig K-Mini is perfect for the camper because it is small and lightweight. It doesn't take up a ton of space in the cabinets, so it is easy to store during travel and it is also the perfect size for the counter (it's cute too 😁).
Also pictured here is our weather station!! We have one at home, so I have become spoiled and Colorado temps can have such a swing, it is nice to know if we need AC or heat at night! This particular model tells you both inside and outside temps, humidity and trends (if the temp is going up or down). It does come with an outdoor sensor, as well, so we just keep the display and sensor in a drawer for storage and take out once we are parked.

This next item took me a long time to get on board with! We always just hung a bag outside somewhere for trash, but once I found this collapsable trashcan, I have become a huge fan! It breaks down easily and is actually quite small for storage, but it is also the perfect size for inside our camper!

Finally, we have the bed rails for Carter and Cadens beds!! These are inflatable so they are lightweight and easy to store. It comes in a pack of two with a hand pump, as well. They just tuck right under the sheets and they have non-slip grips so they don't slide around - so far, nobody has fallen out of their bed!

Those are just a few of our favorite items, that have become camping musts for the Olson's!!
