I am so happy you are here!!

My name is Sara and I am a stay-at-home mom of two to our daughter, Carter and our son Caden.

Being a stay-at-home mom was never in the plans.... then Covid hit, everything closed in March of 2020 and Carter was born at the start of April 2020. My husband had three months of paternity leave and I asked him to work on some landscaping in our front yard (read: he was bored and I needed him to find something to do). Next thing I know we are putting in an offer on a new home, back in the town we both grew up in. **The landscaping project never started 😂**

When my maternity leave was coming to an end, we were just weeks away from our close date. My office was a 30 minute drive from the new house, I didn't feel comfortable putting Carter in daycare because of Covid and the house was going to be a MAJOR project (we purchased from the original owners - who purchase the home in the 70's and everything was nearly original). Going back to work didn't make sense anymore. So my adventure of being a stay-at-home mom began!

In the last 3 years, we have renovated, our family has grown by adding our son and another dog and we have worked hard to put our stamp on this house, both inside and out. Which brings me here.

​

The point of this blog is to share with you a little bit about our lives. I will show you all of our favorite things, from home renovations (before and after), kids activities, products and projects, all things kitchen, from our favorite gadgets and products, to tips and tricks and recipes. We will also be sharing our gardening journeys, as veggie garden beginners to our landscape projects (which have been a constant since moving in). Any and all things that relate to home, family, garden, organization and mom fashion are what I am excited to bring to this blog!
